Consulting and engineering services
From feasibility to dismantling, with a single technical counterpart.

Consulting and project development
At HCRC we offer comprehensive engineering consulting services with a 360º vision, based on our team’s experience, our clients’ needs and current market trends, always upholding harmony with the environment in order to provide sound recommendations and solutions.
Our consulting ranges from technical and financial feasibility studies for early-stage projects to specific studies for the optimisation or expansion of operating facilities, covering the conceptual, design and commissioning phases of projects, including management consulting and owner’s engineering services.

Engineering technical services
At HCRC we have a technical team capable of developing conceptual, basic and detailed engineering for renewable energy, industrial and building projects, delivering the best and most optimal result based on the systematisation of previously executed projects, the team’s capabilities and the use of tools that guarantee efficient, high-quality designs.
Our main disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil and Process engineering, each covering a broad spectrum of its field in renewable technologies, transmission systems, static and rotating equipment, turbomachinery, control systems and structures, among others.
We also offer a technical office service, providing the technical support needed to achieve coordination, supervision, control and unification of criteria in the more advanced stages of projects.

Commissioning, warranties and post-sales
HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant has engineering specialists with experience in operations, maintenance and commissioning work serving the energy industry.
During commissioning, our commitment is to test every piece of equipment, system or industrial installation in the process according to the requirements of each project/client, seeking its optimal and maximum operating values, in order to achieve a safe and reliable handover from the construction stage to the operations stage, ensuring reliability and performance.
For HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant, the benefits of a proper, coordinated commissioning are reflected in better comfort and greater productivity for users, in the availability of more reliable, efficient, safe and more thoroughly documented facilities, and in the extension of their service life.
That is why it is company policy to promote early integration between the commissioning and project teams, so that construction and installation are planned with the commissioning requirements in mind throughout the project life cycle.
This approach allows us to apply engineering techniques that identify and schedule commissioning requirements early, enabling the timely detection of possible planning delays and avoiding unexpected cost overruns or, better still, optimising the available resources to improve project development. We strive to ensure that commissioning procedures are developed in line with operational needs.
HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant is able to meet client needs thanks to the commissioning experience of our group of specialists at facilities located on all 5 continents.
The multidisciplinary group of engineers and specialists at HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant adds value to every project through efficient knowledge transfer to the client’s operation and maintenance teams, minimising the gap between client expectations, design intent and the finished product.
Ultimately, we deliver commissioning reports confirming that the equipment meets the project expectations and the client’s internal standards. HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant also offers the option of keeping specialists on site for operational warranty or post-sales periods if the project requires it.

Operation and maintenance
HCRC provides its clients with qualified technical service staff to work in high-risk areas, offshore locations and remote sites around the world. This includes all up-to-date certifications and training, the equipment and software tools required to carry out their tasks, and personal protective equipment suited to the particular needs of each site and client.
Among its key competencies, HCRC provides technical advice for the proper and timely planning, assessment and execution of installation, start-up, operation and maintenance activities on a wide range of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment for the industrial, power generation, gas processing and renewable energy sectors, based on more than 50 years of combined experience across its team of engineers.

Optimization and improvements
For HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant, improving processes, shortening timelines, reducing costs and improving the quality of the final product are objectives, and in some cases challenges, that we tackle through study, fieldwork and design processes based on the premise that every activity and production process can be improved.
Successful process optimisation means devoting time and resources to properly understanding each process, its current state and the data it produces. For this work, having industrial analysts and consultants can be key to laying solid foundations for the improvement phases.
The group of specialists and engineers at HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant begins the optimisation and improvement study by analysing the internal level of the client’s facility or organisation, in order to improve productivity through a better system and execution of quality controls. With a redesigned process and the resources needed to make the new version more optimal, the necessary changes are implemented, with thorough monitoring of these implementations to help employees adapt and to cover any gaps, such as training, new skills or understanding of the information obtained from data processing.

Final closure and dismantling
HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant has specialists in the dismantling and final closure of projects who, through sophisticated resources and proper planning, optimise and maximise the actions required to remove industrial facilities and relevant structures that have reached the end of their productive life in a given industry, and to subsequently restore the industrial site to its previous state.
HCRC Renewable & Power Consultant presents its clients with closure plans specifying the measures to be taken at the end of the service life of the facility to be dismantled, with the aim of controlling and/or mitigating any situations that could cause unwanted environmental and social impacts during closure or abandonment, ensuring a safe long-term environmental condition.
Once the life or productive cycle of a facility, or of a company’s process system, has ended, a closure plan must be implemented. This plan can range from the dismantling and demolition of facilities that will no longer serve any purpose and could alter or damage the surroundings, to the refurbishment of structures and the recovery of land affected by the operation of industrial facilities, with a view to eliminating the risk of accidents and contamination and finding a possible sustainable use for the site.
